Lion cub

The lion cubs are bursting with energy and curiosity. They roll in the tall grass, leap, chase each other, grab their mother's tail, or slip between her paws with an insatiable zest for life. Véronique was amused to see them so lively, playful, and fascinated by the slightest movement around them. Every game, however innocent, is actually a learning experience: an instinctive preparation for the art of hunting.
