Awards & Recognition
7 International Awards | Master Photographer International
After taking early retirement at age 50 for health reasons, I reconnected with my passion for photography with renewed conviction.
2023: The turning point
I took up the challenge of the Master Photographers International (MIP) competition and won seven Bronze Awards, a global recognition that validated years of work and perseverance.
Beyond the awards
One of my photos was published in Outdoor Photography Magazine (Nature's Beauty theme) and several of my works have been exhibited in prestigious international digital galleries.
These distinctions are not an end in themselves, but an invitation to continue capturing the fragile beauty of our world.

EPHEMERAL LIGHT
A moment suspended in time at Edward Medard Conservatory Park, Florida. This former phosphate mining site, now transformed into a water reservoir, is home to a rich biodiversity: water birds, fish, alligators.
As visitors left the park at sunset, I had the privilege of capturing the invisible energy that envelops nature in a moment of absolute serenity. A rare communion between light and silence.

MORNING OF SERENITY
Dawn breaks over Edward Medard Conservatory Park, revealing the tranquil majesty of this natural sanctuary. I captured the first golden rays caressing the calm water, creating an atmosphere of perfect peace.
A special moment when nature awakens in all its splendor, far from the hustle and bustle of human activity.

COLOR OF THE SAVANNAH
The solitary acacia tree, an iconic silhouette of the African savannah, stands majestically against a sky ablaze with color.
When the sun sets over the Masai Mara horizon, nature offers a spectacle of rare intensity. I captured this fleeting moment that captures the visual soul of Africa in all its splendor.

Location: Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya

MORNING ATMOSPHERE
Elegant silhouettes cut out against a fiery sky, the giraffes of the Masai Mara offered me a magical spectacle at sunrise.
These peaceful giants, living symbols of Africa, blended into the golden light of dawn. I captured this moment of perfect harmony between wildlife and landscape.

Location: Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya

FAMILY WALK
A family of elephants slowly crosses the plain to reach the Mara River. The matriarch leads the way, the young follow, and the cohesion of the clan is palpable.
I captured this special moment that reveals the intimacy and tenderness of these majestic creatures. These peaceful giants embody the ancestral wisdom and complex social structure of their species.

Local recognition that touches me deeply
My works are currently on display at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci Library, a cultural and community hub in the heart of my municipality. The exhibition was inaugurated in the presence of the mayor, in a warm atmosphere marked by local pride.
It is always an honor to share my work with my community and to see my photographs touch the people who live near me, in this area that I call home and love.

DETERMINED LOOK
Faulu, a young female leopard around 4 years old, was a real photographic favorite in the Masai Mara reserve in Kenya.
That intense gaze fixed on her prey, that absolute concentration, that quiet determination... I captured the precise moment when the predator assesses, calculates, prepares. The very essence of the feline: patience, strategy, contained power.

Location: Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya

GENTLE GAZE
Faulu rests in her tree refuge, a moment of rare intimacy with this elusive leopard. Her gentle, almost meditative gaze contrasts with the ferocious reputation of her species.
Perched in the branches of the Masai Mara, she embodies the quiet grace and mysterious beauty of the African felines that I had the chance to observe for hours.

Location: Masai Mara Reserve, Kenya

GENTLE POLLINATION
The monarch butterfly, an endangered species in Canada, makes an extraordinary 2,500-mile migration each year. Threatened by habitat loss and pesticides, this essential pollinator embodies the fragility of our ecosystem. Taken in Quebec, this photograph captures the delicate beauty of the monarch in its vital role as a pollinator. I had the honor of seeing it published in Outdoor Photography to raise awareness about the protection of this iconic species.
